Generalized anxiety disorder

Generalized anxiety disorder is characterized by periods of six months or longer in which an individual is excessively anxious or worried about a number of events or activities. Symptoms of Generalized Anxiety Disorder include:
  • Difficulty controlling worry or anxiety
  • Restlessness
  • Being easily fatigued
  • Difficulty concentrating
  • Irritability
  • Muscle tension
